WAYLON THIBODEAUX

Born in Louisiana's "Bayou Country" just a few miles southwest of New Orleans, Houma native Waylon Thibodeaux, has been dubbed "Louisiana's Rockin' Fiddler". Today, this talented, self-taught Cajun musician has gained a notable reputation as one of Louisiana's best known recording artists. His talents have led him to play festivals, clubs and other special events throughout the United States, Canada, France, Central and South America. His rollicking, crowd-pleasing performance on stage is exactly what one would expect from someone who, at age 16, was Louisiana's state fiddle champion. He never fails to serve up a good helping of spicy, high-energy Louisiana and Cajun/Zydeco music. His unique musical style is best described by Thibodeaux himself:
"It's a mixture - it's Cajun, but not too traditional, it's Zydeco with a pinch of New Orleans' sound, a small pinch of South Louisiana 'Swamp Pop', a taste of Country and a little Rock n' Roll, that's sure to get you on your feet and dancing."

3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

THE MOLLY RINGWALDS

They are The World's Greatest 80's Tribute Band.  Hailing from Sheffield, England, this legendary quintet has been able to combine their individual and very formidable talents to create the true essence of the most radical decade to ever be called "The 80's."  Since 1980, The Molly Ringwalds have been honing their abilities to apply make-up, tease their hair, and put on the Greatest Tribute show on Earth covering all the musical genres of the decade.  From their days of building a following at a pub located in a large portion of a big city near a small village located south of a place you've never heard of, to selling out large venues in the United States, The Molly Ringwalds are an indescribable act.  Luck and circumstance brought these young lads together.  The rest is the history of the 80's.

6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

FORET TRADITION

The Foret Tradition has come a long way since 1995, which was the year when the band was first started. The band first consisted of two members but has since grown into a five piece lineup. We have been a four piece band for the last 7 years until January 2006 when a fifth member was added. We started out playing local fairs, weddings, and night clubs for next to nothing but now we are playing night clubs, festivals, weddings, casinos, etc, all over Louisiana , Mississippi , and Texas .  Band Members are Ryan Foret, Brandon Foret, Chris Daigle, Wade Pavalini, and Cory Distefano . The band has released three cd's in the past 7 years and is currently working to finalize production on the fourth one. We all enjoy playing music and are currently making a living doing so. Come out and have a great time with us.
