The Sawmill Festival Tournament will be played on 3 lighted 300 ft. ball parks with access to restrooms and concession stand at the ball parks. Also the fairgrounds concession stands will have plenty of food. Games will be played in two brackets. B/C and D/E separate. Contact Dr. Ted W. Get a healthy start with the Cypress Sawmill Fun Walk through Kemper Williams Park. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. T-shirts and door prizes awarded.

9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Cypress Sawmill Display
View the display of cypress sawmill artifacts, located in the new Louisiana State Museum located in the front of the park (Free of Charge). See antique cypress wheels, passe partouts, and a 1927 film highlighting the industry.

9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. All American Professional Lumber Jack Show
Chain saw carving and kid's sport camp. Sponsored by Felterman Foundation.

10:00 a.m. Arts and Crafts
Hand-crafters from throughout the South showcase their wares

Noon to 2:30 p.m. BRANDON BENNETT'S ELVIS MY WAY
Brandon Bennett is a handsome southern boy from the city of Ponchatoula, LA. Not only does he look like Elvis, but his entertaining ability only reinforces the illusion. He has appeared at many venues around the USA and Canada and casinos from Louisiana to Las Vegas, even Vegas, performing at the Legendary Stardust Casino in Las Vegas. He enjoys sharing Elvis' music with others and keeping his memory alive. Don't miss this exciting performance!

3:00 p.m. Bass Tournament Weigh In

3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. WAYLON THIBODEAUX
Born in Louisiana's "Bayou Country", Houma native Waylon Thibodeaux has been dubbed  "Louisiana's Rockin' Fiddler". This  talented, self-taught Cajun musician  has gained a notable reputation as one  of Louisiana's best known recording  artists. Thibodeaux describes his music as "a mixture - it's Cajun, but not too traditional, it's Zydeco with a pinch of New Orleans' sound, a small pinch of South Louisiana 'Swamp Pop', a taste of Country and a little Rock n' Roll, that's sure to get you on your feet and dancing." Don't miss this rollicking, crowd-pleasing performance.

6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. NA NA SHA
In 1984, Na Na Sha represented the city of Gonzales, LA by performing at the World's Fair in New Orleans. One of the hottest show and dance bands in the south, performing music from the "Doo-Wop Days" of the 50's, "Rhythm and Blues" music from the 60's and 70's and "Country and Western". Whether you choose to sit back and enjoy the show, or participate in such dances as the Twist, Jitterbug, Harlem Shuffle, and the Freeze, you're guaranteed to have a great time!

9:00 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. FIREWORKS SHOW & SALUTE
Fireworks program honoring the past and present law enforcement, firefighters, paramedics, and emergency personnel. Sponsored by the B & G Enterprises, King Trucking, Earl King, JAG Construction and Halimar Shipyard, LLC.

9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. OLE MAN RIVER BAND
A five piece musical group presenting favorite New Orleans' piano based standards, the Ole Man River Band gathers the sounds of music from the sites and sounds of the Mississippi River that moves, grooves, and soothes! The band is comprised of some of New Orleans's finest musicians. Come on out and enjoy the Rockin' Rhythm of the Ole Man River Band.
